Poiizon Studio in Chennai catered to dances for corporates and programmes. Amateurs practiced to shake a leg and people who knew how to dance came to brush up their skills.
My husband who was the president of a Rotary club in the year 12-13 and I participated in a program Happy India for a district conference where a dozen other couples were enacting couples from the different states of India..
My husband and I were a Bengali couple.
The complete week of rehearsal was full of fun, frolic and feast.
A few husbands used to get mouth watering snacks from a hotel nearby and serve the snacks with coffee/tea.
The ladies then decided to have pot luck and brought lunch from home (including me).
There was an array of delicious veg and non-veg items.
A wonderful week that will be cherished for ever.
The outcome of our hectic practice was a brilliant success.
