A place
teeming with humanity
unity in diversity
different race and religion
expectant mothers-to-be
looking child like
with their husbands and some with
their mothers
pregnant mothers
with noisy first borns
fathers at task,
in pacifying the kids
all waiting patiently
for their turn
for ultra scan
patients on wheel chairs
looking weak and forlorn
hoping to be back on their feet soon
the friendly and patient staff
with their beaming smiles
makes one believe there is hope
for a fast recovery
patients from around the globe
with belief in their hearts
come with their near and dear
looking upon the doctors as god
who they are sure will cure them more with their love and service
a scene at a city hospital during midday
corridors are crowded with patients sitting on the seats and some sleeping on the ground
waiting for their chance for survival
